01.04. 09:15 Again, we observe issues on SCRATCH and probably WORK. Our system administration and the vendor support are working on that. A typical symptom may be hanging jobs. Due to Easter holidays, a solution might take some days.

30.03. 12:40 WORK is available again on Phase 2. Please report any issues via https://servicedesk.lrz.de/en/ql/create/25

30.03. 06:55 The WORK instabilities on SuperMUC-NG Phase 2 have resurfaced. We are working on a solution.

27.03. 17:15 File systems are back in operation.
The licenses mechanism doesn’t work yet. This issue is still under investigation.

26.03. 09:20 File system issues persist. Currently, WORK is not available on compute nodes of SuperMUC-NG Phase 2. Job processing is affected. Jobs may be pending. We are working on a solution.

25.03. 17:45 The SCRATCH file system is back online again. Unfortunately, the incident revealed a problem with the SLURM licensing mechanism in the newly installed version. We are looking into it. For the moment, It is probably easiest to cancel jobs pending due to licenses and resubmit them without the SBATCH command below.

The SCRATCH file system is down. Running jobs have been affected. You can still run jobs using only WORK with the sbatch entry

#SBATCH –licenses=scratch:0
