2026-07-14 18:00 Access to SuperMUC-NG Phase 2 and the Linux Cluster CoolMUC-4 is possible again. Please note:

• SuperMUC-NG Phase 2 is currently limited to projects (test, regular, large-scale) that explicitly have requested access.
• The login nodes of the Linux Cluster have been upgraded to a newer OS version. Software compiled after the upgrade will not run on the compute nodes. Please check

2026-07-13 16:00 Login nodes of SuperMUC-NG Phase 1 are online again. We expect to enable access to Phase 2 and the Linux Cluster within the next two days. Please expect temporary limitations concerning compilation.

Due to a security vulnerability, login to all HPC systems is currently suspended. We will update this message as more information is available.

Pending and running compute jobs are not affected.
