Am LRZ migrieren wir seit einiger Zeit unsere Virtualisierungsumgebung von VMware zu Nutanix.
Am Fr. 27.02.2026 um ca. 7 Uhr finden die Verlagerungen der DB-Server für die am LRZ gehostete Websites im Standard Webhosting sowie des DB-Servers für die Website des LRZ statt.
Es kommt dabei zu einem Ausfall der betroffenen Websites von 5-10 Minuten.

At LRZ, we have been migrating our virtualization environment from VMware to Nutanix for some time now.
On Friday, February 27, 2026, at approximately 7 a.m., the database servers for websites hosted in our Standard Webhosting and for the homepage of the LRZ will be relocated.
During the maintenance these websites will be unavailable for about 5-10 minutes.
